TOOKER GOMBERG

We recently lost a courageous brother in the struggle against Babylon. Tooker Gomberg was an activist of note, particularly a thorn in the side of Alberta Premier Ralph Klein. Tooker and his partner Angela Bischoff lived in the Killaloe area for a short time. Though I didn't get to know them well, I was mightily impressed by their commitment and sincerity. Tooker had been active in the peace movement in Toronto, and was very much a proponent of the Kyoto Accord, bicycle transportation and freedom. You can check out an article from the Globe and Mail. There is an internet DISCUSSION FORUM where you can leave a comment about Tooker. He had operated an independent television station (he constantly extolled the virtues of non-mainstream media) called TOTV which (Tooker always insisted) stood for Toronto TV and not Tooker TV. Tooker and Angela had a radio show called "ECO-FREAKO" on CHCR (Canadian Homegrown Community Radio) in Killaloe.

March 20, 2004 marked the anniversary of the INVASION OF IRAQ. Though the overwhelming world support for peace didn't accomplish much last year, we must again show George W.
